the lake is spawning, probably most lakes are at the mo. the bream have finished a bit back and are all limp but at least are feeding. The carp are still at it... thrashing around and doing pirhouettes.. remarkable behaviour... but NOT feeding!
The diggers in the background will finish the new lake within days.....
the environment agency came by Denhall Ln recently and caught I think about 7 anglers without rod licences... they'll get fines in the post very soon! they were fishing during spawning? without licences??? why???
No law against fishing while fish are spawning, just a waste of time as they are pre occupied, would you want a sandwhich half way through a romantic encounter??
As for no licences, although I don't agree with what the EA do for fishing I still buy one as I value my tackle and don't want it confiscated!
