fishing on August 28th

Fished on peg 26 and caught loads of silvers,skimmers,ide,tench and carp. I caught these on maggot,caster and corn on my pole trying out a no.6 elastic. I've never fished a light elastic before. It was good fun. I switched to my normal no.12 elastic late on when the bigger carp started showing. I was fishing at the bottom of the margin shelf at about 8m. The weather was bad as it was on and off rain all day but more on than off and the wind was cold! There was not many people fishing(where are all the fine wether fishermen!!!) You should support Paul even when the suns not shining.

well done Sarah, it sounds like you had a good session, it can be really good fun using light elastics but care is always needed to land big fish on the light tackle!
