hi peeps
 i am fishing it with a mate this sat, i am only taking my quiver an just goin to fish the method... any tips???

i will be gratefull if u can let me know your tips on clarmont, baits ect

Hi Haydn.

I've only ever pole fished it to the island. It's quite shallow around the island but the opposite end looks deeper (don't know if it is, it just looks it!)

Last year when I fished it, the matchman in me did the usual & fished hard up to the island reeds (like a canal). Only had one small carp for the first hour. I dropped in at my feet while I had a coffee & a fag & started catching every chuck. Crucians & small carp on maggot. Guy next to me was using corn & only had a couple of crucians.

I believe there are some decent fish in there now, although I've never seen any. It's quite heavily coloured as well.

It's only at the back of our house. I might wander down & see how you're doing.
