hi everyone, i fished the small lake today, peg 7. the fishing was hard going but after feeding maggots an micros every 3min or so i go the fish feeding well! i was getting a bite every chuck. i fed with a pole pot an fished at 7m, i missed loads of bites as they were so delicate! i did manage to land a number of slivers+ one gold fish. i was getting silvers all the time (roach, ide, rudd)
and i wanted a bigger fish so i got some corn and squeezed out the insides just leaving me with the skin and after about 5min the float diped and i had a nice gold fish!

You did a bit of thinking there with the corn skin
Try dotting your float down level with the surface, you will hit those little bites then

my float was, i was fishing it with like only 2mm showing, i think it was because my top kit with a no8 elastic has broke so i was using a no14...bit to heavy!!
