Yew Tree on thursday

Hi im Jack new to the Forum, 15 and from the wirral. I was going to put my name down for the match on Thursday but im not to sure. I have only ever fished it once and it fished poorly back in 2009.

A few questions.

How deep is the large lake?
What bait is best?
How far out on the pole or feeder?


Also are there any tips you can offer me?

HI STEVE JUST TO CLARIFY YOUR REPLY ABOUT MATCHES FOR UNDER 16,S AT YEW TREE,,,,,ANYONE UNDER 16 CAN FISH THE YEW TREE MATCHES AS LONG AS THEY ARE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT,,IE AN ADULT OR SENIOR RELATIVE IS ALSO FISHING THE MATCH WITH THEM HOPE THIS HELPS CHEERS

MMM well thats ruined my plans i didnt know that. I have allready booked a space so if you i reading this evo i have canceled. Last time when i went i was sure it was 15   I wouldnt mind i take match fish seriously  Also its only 2 months till im 16
