Hey guys i know i not been on for a long while but recently i had to take up a second job i was passed fit to start playing my rugby after my operation, Hard to do any fishing when working 58 hours over 6 days a week :(....but enough of my sob story, i have booked this day off and planning with a few friends on going to Lower Ridge :), just wondering how its fishing l8ly? whats the best peg and bait to use? any info would be great :D thanks all

also i take it lake 1 is the one to use, is the 3rd lake up and running yet though?

What a great Day i had at Lower Ridge, fished on Peg 26 on 2 rods, 1 with a method feeder using my "secret mix" and the other on a float about 3ft down as close to the island alternating between corn and maggot..It was literally a catch a chuck, as soon as i had replenished my feeder and tried to float fish it would scream off! and when i did get the chance to use my float rod i was pulling in decent roach,ide and F1's and even caught an Eel at one point! but the best catch of the day in my eyes was the approx 1 1/2lb barbel, beautiful fish and the first i have caught of that species yet...would defo give it anothr go and those who haven't been yet are missing out!!
