Hi guys and gals new to this site...........going parkfield farm tommorow for the first time just wundering if anyone knows how its fishing?

Hi Phil - welcome to the site. It's full of helpful people (and a few nutters).

Never fished Parkfield myself but somebody made a post about it the other week & they weren't very complimentary about the place. I believe the tackle shop is well worth a visit though....some bargains to be had by all accounts.

It's quite a good fishery when the water has warmed up but is poor in the colder months.
It should be ok now that we are in May.

I had a look at it today, there were a few fishing, didnt have a walk around just a quick look at the lake, I went the shop to buy some pellets and a chair, tackle shop is brilliant. going to try the place soon myself, looks nice and quiet and the lake has plenty of features not just a hole in a ground.
