Rather than reinvent the wheel why not have a look at 'local venues' on the merseysideanglers.com forum?
It lists dozens of local waters, some with sat nav locations.

Hi All
Quite a few people have asked about putting rivers and canals on the North West Fisheries web site.
At the moment I will be sticking to just still waters
I think getting the correct info on rivers is unobtainable, where does the free stretch start and end , which bank etc.

hi dave heres a fishery we fished a few yrs back and its still a fiver a day owned by andy nicolhson angling journalist the its called chequered lake nr whitchurch Chequered Lake http://www.fisheries.co.uk/chequered/index.htFishery  its really good and full of quality fish .
