Hi Steve,

Some good fish to be had at Lower Ridge Carp go to around 15lb, but there is a huge head of big Ide, also Barble, Tench, and all the usual species.

Cracking venue really got to know it last year. Fish in their to 20lb+ plenty of doubles all seem to be in the margins along with small tench. Great if you put the bait in and catch the ide as you can really bag up.

There are also a few surprises in both lakes that seem to snap off everybody.

one of my favorite venues lower ridge had a nice carp there last year out of the margins on prawns ,never had a set of scales but the guy on the next peg said it was easy 14to 15lbs ,had a few good early morning sessions on there but i think he keeps it locked now till 7am ,still its a great venue when its not plauged by kids unsupervised tight lines all try it if u havent yet
