Just wondering what the stocks are like for general fishing. I dont like carp anglers with their bivvies seems all to easy and relaxed. I wanted to fish up there either on feeder tackle or the pole. What are the chances i have a good day. I have some heavy elastics and stuff so fancyed a day sesh down there but am unsure what is in there and if my gear will be up to the job.

Any suggestions or tips?
Jack

Hi Jack
A good mixed fishery with plenty of good fish but full of small bits.

If your going to use a feeder try a little tip Wendy and I used.

Make your feeder mix as dry as possible so that when it hits the water a lot of it brakes off and stays on the surface feeding the bits.

Your main hook bait then goes to the bottom for the bigger fish.

It worked for us
