This post was updated on .
Fished there today with Gary
A bit cold, as the rain hit my pole it turned to ice, and icicles from hanging from my umbrella
But we where out fishing and had a laugh, so not a bad day, could have been at work

 A bit cool to-day

Top marks for getting out today! You must be mad.

It's time to start worrying when the icicles begin forming on YOU!

Haha at least you had an umbrella! I had a go last weekend but packed in after less than 3 hours when I realised my rod had frozen solid so I couldn't even reel in my line... Took ages to pack up as all the zips on my bags had also frozen. Was genuinely surprised to find I still had all my toes when I got home as I hadn't been able to feel them for several hours. It was an interesting experience and one I will think long and hard about before repeating! (killer moment for me was foolishly washing ground bait off my hands in the water... The memory of tht pain will live on for some time)
