Claremont fishery

This pic is my first of 14 landed on Saturday 4th September. Most caught were common and I had a nice little 12lb. Also got my first Tench there on Saturday! Best day so far. I've been going there now for the last 2 months. I only use lobworms and find it's probably the best bait.

Best place I think to fish is around the island and close to the bank.

The fishery is in need of a toilet. Surroundings are great and you forget about the noise from the motorway.

Bring on Saturday!

I have read a lot about Yew Tree Fishery but not been yet, plan to go in a few weeks.

Nice fish  and if thats the first of 14 it must be fishing well and you now the water.
Yes it dose need toilets and tidying up a bit but it`s good fishing for £5.
But I don't know how you put up with the noise from the motorway

Not had chance yet to fish Yewtree but fished Claremont again on Saturday.
Had another bag full and got snapped twice on a monster!

Hello

I've been fishing Claremont for the last 3 years and always find using lobworms are the best bait.
I always fish around the bank down the bottom end and have always caught around 3lb upwards. Best I've had is 16lb common. Always plum your depth and be patient.
