Boilies and other flavorings

Hi all

I'm going to lingmere on friday 29th july for a few hours after 5pm could anyone help me on what flavour boilies to use and any other help on flavoring and baits would be a great help.

It's a commercial fishery - you don't need to worry too much about bait. Why not just buy a bag of readymade boilies from a reputable company? Or, even cheaper, use a drilled halibut pellet or a piece of peperami.

Thanks daveE i am going to by some boilies but i'm confused as to which flavour to get because there are so many to choose from. what would be the best baits to use for carp at lingmere?

Hi I've never had much on boilies at lingmere I'd go on meat corn or pellet one to the oxygen machine and one in the margin if I was gona go with boilies it Would be richworth kg1 or a similar fishmeal boilie fished over particle hope this helps

If you are determined to use boilie then a general rule is fishmeal/savoury in summer and fruit in winter.
Something like Dynamite Baits 'Spicy Shrimp and Prawn' in summer and Nutrabaits 'Pineapple and Banana' in winter.

having been a field tester for a couple of different bait companies the two baits i would be happy to use any where would be Mainlines Active 8 and any maple flavour. I would use both summer or winter,dont get bogged down with all the different flavours.Paul
