Got my first Saturday off tomorrow, so I AM GOING FISHING!!!, problem is I have not been fishing since November, who's going where?

Any suggestions, looks like its going to be a nice day for a change.

Hi all,

Done what I said fished Yew Tree, had a load of maggots (Curtesy of Lionels offer, Spend £10, get a pint of maggots free!!) Youmust produce the offer in AT to qualify!

Anyway back to the fishing, started on peg 21, at 8 mtr, with bunch of Maggots ( My Mission is to catch one of the Tench) Couple of Ide,

So moved in closer, 4 Mtr Caster and Maggot, Zilch,

Went out to 10 Mtr, and bang!! thought this is it completed my mission on the first visit of the year, WHOOOOO, drat, turned out to be a 6-7lb Common, lovely fish though, and christened my new Yank n Bank pole.

Enjoyed the chat with Steve, and called in at Lower Ridge on the way home.

See Wend is making her self at home there, (Head Bailiff) when is the wedding!!, we could hold a parade of poles for you to walk through up the Aisle!! Seriously though Wend, Hope yor dreams come true!!, and all members of the forum get free fishing at Lower Ridge!! LOL

Hi Steve,

Seems the fish are on the prowl, just need to find the right method, the lad in the match that got 90lb+ got it bang on, not my style of fishing though, 11mtr max on the pole, done all the serious match fishing 25 year ago, now it's for pleasure.

Still, I am a bit like Des Taylor, do all types of fishing, Pike, Sea, Game, Coarse, Plug, and Lure, and enjoy the lot!!

I have been fishing since being 5yr old, 48 yr ago, with some memorable acheivments, and  moments!
