Nice one.

"The footpath continues downstream to the village church or upstream to the village pub (a very short walk). "

Now that would give me a dilemma on Sunday do i fish the upstream nymph or a team of 3 wet flies down and across

not really - I just found the site on the web.

http://www.westbrookpark.co.uk/facilities.htm

suggests its free fishing from the campsite

The Teme is a rather small and generally shallow river. It is often so clear that every stone and fish can be seen! It fishes best after rain colours it up or at night. Unless you can find a deep swim with overhanging trees you are best roving about and fishing several swims.
It is easy to blank!
Strong gear is needed for the barbel.
The best day I've had on the Teme was a few years ago at a village called Lindridge.
I fished a small bomb and maggot and fed hemp and maggot by catapult.
I had 9 barbel to around 5 lb, a few chub, a big perch, a dace and a 3 lb bream. A right old mixture!

Thanks for the tips Dave, so not an easy river to fish, well always did like a challenge, good learning curve.
It looks like you have to roam about to find a good swim.
With it being shallow I should be able to wade it for a few miles
Roll on June

If it's no good, you're quite close to Stourport on Severn as well, Steve. That looks a nice stretch of river.
